(ESPN..Live) Tennessee vs Butler Live Basketball

After a two week break for final exams the basketball Vols are back in action tomorrow at #18 Butler.  The break was made especially long by Tennessee's outcome in Brooklyn:  a close call against now 8-1 George Washington, then an 11 point loss to Nebraska.  The Vols' weaknesses in the interior were exposed in both games, and in the interim pseudo-post Jabari McGhee transferred out of the program.

George Washington's only loss came in the Brooklyn final to #23 Cincinnati, and Cincinnati's only loss came against #18 Butler.  The Bulldogs' only loss came to #17 Miami; Butler is currently 27th in KenPom and running the nation's eighth best offense by their metrics.

The Butler Bulldogs are back home in Indianapolis, Ind. to welcome the Tennessee Volunteers into Hinkle Fieldhouse.

No. 18 Butler has started off 7-1 thanks to senior guard Kellen Dunham and his 20 points per game average. The Bulldogs' only loss came at the hand of Miami three weeks ago, but they've bounced back with four straight wins.

The Volunteers are 4-3 in spite of Kevin Punter's 22.3 points per game. Tennessee dropped one to Georgia Tech early on, and their last two outings ended in losses to George Washington and Nebraska.

Below is everything you need to know about the game, including the Butler vs. Tennessee online live stream, TV broadcast information, game notes and prediction.

This is Butler's game to lose. Dunham will pick and choose his spots, but essentially, he'll have whatever he wants. Tennessee allows its opponents to shoot 40.4 percent from the field, and Dunham will exploit that. Punter and Moore won't score enough to do any real damage, and the Bulldogs will pull away in the second half. Look for Martin to have a good game as a secondary scorer, but he'll make just as many plays for his teammates as he will creating his own shot.
