OTG: Shingleton State Forest

On Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10am, we will be meeting in the Shingleton State Forest Area to plant trees in the Garden Rd GEMS area. GEMS areas are Grouse Enhanced Management Sites. We will be planting a variety of trees that provide cover for grouse habitat. Four varieties we will be planting include ninebark, American mountain ash, American Hazelnut, and highbush cranberry. 

Shovels and safety gear will be provided by MUCC as well as Lunch and a free T-shirt for all volunteers. Please RSVP here to volunteer for grouse habitat improvement!
