OTG: Sharonville SGA Fence Removal

On October 11, 2015 at 9am we will be at the Sharonville State Game Area to remove fencing from an area where there will be planting work done for the Michigan Pheasant Restoration Initiative in the future.

Removing the fencing will help the Sharonville area DNR work towards converting fields from cropland to nesting, brood rearing, and winter cover for pheasant. The fencing is all around the current parking lot and separates some fields- which makes equipment access, hunter access, and vegetation conversion difficult.

Shovels, work gloves, and post hole diggers will be provided by MUCC for volunteers. Lunch will also be provided as well as a free OTG T-Shirt and digital subscription to Michigan OutofDoors Magazine!
