MOOD U Great Lakes Fish Passage Symposium OnlineDecember 19th, 2012
Back in August, we co-hosted a symposium on Great Lakes fish passage in Traverse City with the Michigan chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Great Lakes Fishery Trust as part of our Michigan OutOfDoors University series of events.
The symposium featured presentations and speakers by fisheries experts from across the Great Lakes region, including scientists, professors and biologists. For those who weren’t able to make it to Traverse City, their presentations are now available online by clicking here. Topics include:
- Impacts of dams on fish habitat
- Aquatic invasive species
- Impacts of salmon on resident trout
- Salmon & stealhead production predictions
- Threatened and endangered non-game fish
- Sturgeon habitat needs
Watch video from the event, view the presentations and learn more about Great Lakes fish passage by going to Michigan OutOfDoors University! Class dismissed.
