DNR asks for public input from ORV usersNovember 15th, 2012
Michigan is known as a trails state-specifically for our expansive network of off-road vehicle (ORV) trails. The Department of Natural Resources maintains a well-established network of trails for ORV and ATV use, which is an increasingly popular recreational opportunity in Michigan.
To ensure Michigan has excellent trails for ORVs, the DNR is working alongside Michigan State University to assess ownership, ORV use and interest in the development of an ORV Training Center. To gauge public input, the DNR is asking ORV, and non-ORV, users to respond to a brief survey.
This method of public input and participation in management of Michigan’s natural resources is critical to the success of our trails, forests, harbors and other natural resources that provide entertainment and value to the public.
