MUCC Welcomes Three New Clubs

Three clubs were approved for affiliation by the MUCC Board of Directors at their February meeting.  The Thunder Bay Walleye Club and St. Clair-Detroit River Sturgeon for Tomorrow were affiliated as 100% clubs and the Fennville Rod & Gun Club was re-affiliated in the Sustaining category.

Located in Alpena, The Thunder Bay Walleye Club sponsors tournaments, operates a rearing pond, holds fishing seminars and assists their community in helping out at events.  The current president is Jim Leeseberg and the group has 70 members.

The St. Clair-Detroit River Sturgeon for Tomorrow club is a non-profit organization based in Southeastern Michigan committed to the conservation and propagation of Lake Sturgeon. They currently list 28 members and their president is Jim Felgenauer.

The Fennville Rod & Gun Club, located in Fennville has become a Sustaining Club.  The club has trap, skeet, rifle and pistol ranges at the club and has over 100 members.
