Talk to your representative about allocating more operating funds for facility upkeep and improvements.  Which brings me to the limited amount of &#039;land to hunt on.&#039;  The vast majority of huntable state land is hours away from the large population centers in the state. If anything, the DNR should be allocating more resources to the development of public lands in and around these areas so that they are used by the taxpayers.  They should not have their hands tied in this regard. ]]></description>

Upgrading of state park facilities.  Improved campgrounds in state forests.  I don&#039;t hear anybody complaining of a shortage of public land to hunt on.   ]]></description>
