		<description><![CDATA[I volunteer in SE Michigan, where this has been going on for several years.  I assume workdays will continue throughout next year - this is not a short-term thing that needs to detract from your time out hunting. I hope it works like it does for me - when you volunteer, the program not only gets your time, they get matching funds, I believe it is over 15$/h here.  That money can actually create local jobs, and it sure helps out our hunting and fishing areas, endangered species, water quality, etc.
With two deer from the rec area near me in the freezer,  not to mention fish, shrooms, berries, and plain old beauty, I figure I owe plenty.  If sportpeople could show up in reasonable numbers, we could do amazing things - we already do some, but not enough.
