What’s Better than Leftover Meatloaf?
September 1st, 2011Leftover hunting licenses! If you forgot to apply or missed out on your first choice, there is still a change to get in on the deer and turkey hunting action this fall in Michigan.
Since navigating the Michigan DNR website can be a challenge, I wanted to share the direct links to get more information:
FALL TURKEY LICENSES
- Units with leftover Fall Turkey Hunting Licenses available include the private land-only units YY (most of Southern Lower Peninsula) and HA (Oceana, Newaygo, and Mecosta Counties); as well as the regular units L (Southwestern Lower Michigan) and M (entire Upper Peninsula). You can buy these over the counter now, one per day until the quota is met!
ANTLERLESS DEER LICENSES
- If you applied for an antlerless deer license, results are now available here.
- Remaining private and public land antlerless deer licenses may be purchased beginning September 6 at 10 a.m. EDT. Licenses will be sold until the quota is met in each hunting unit.
Happy Hunting!
